29 Jan OG briefing summary

Certain ground rules:
1) Know where your members are at all times
2) Proper for both OGLs and freshmen at all times
3) Be mindful of belongings especially outside, in east coast and suntec
4) Bring one trashbag for each subog

Standard protocol
Scenario 1: Lost freshmen
Let Kenrick know @ 97853192 and he will contact subog

Scenario 2: Locating freshmen
Parents contact Jerald or Xiaowei who wil contact Kenrick who contact subog

3: Injury
Go to first aid personnel which wil be at back of hall

4: Information to pass to ogls
hall: announcement for 1 OGL from each subog to meet outside hall. (ICs, or anyone else if ic is not around)
not in hall: OG heads will pass down

5:Crying freshmen
Please handle them with consideration and dun cry along with them

6: Fire
Do not panic. Listen to announcement

Mass dance @ Suntec
Friday 6 February. Time will be told later.
OGLs meet their subogs to bring the freshmen there if they dunno how.
There will be a lot of free time between sea carnival and the mass dance.

Things to wear:
For OGLs: Uniform for assembly on ALL days first then change to..
First and second day: PE attire
3rd day: white orientation tee
4th: house tee
5th: Yellow orientation tee (for suntec) see carnival is black tee or tee to be thrown.

For Freshmen: Sec school uniform for all days first then change to..
1st: White orientation tee
2nd: Sec sch pe attire
3rd: VJ Pe attire (to be bought by then)
4th: Sec sch pe attire
5th: Yellow orientation tee (for suntec) see carnival is black tee or tee to be thrown.

Things to do:
1) Calling freshmen (VERY VERY IMPORTANT)
a. Check yr email on Friday and Sat and I will send the list of freshmen to u

b. Each subog will have their freshmen’s names and contacts on the list to contact

c. Subog ics pls allocate who to call, there will be 12-15 people. Choose to call yrself or split I leave it to u. (i suggest just having 2 people to call. 6 isnt a lot of people)

d. Subog ics make sure the ogls in yr subog got the email, and call the freshmen up, if not pls call them yrselves(:

e. Keep trying to call them until 11pm on sat. If it fails, send the list of uncontactable people to me @ fre3ze91@hotmail.com by 11:05

f. Things to say:
i. Time, venue, attire (to be told to u in the email)
ii. Attire: come in sec school uniform on first day
iii. Pack light. Bring water bottle and money for lunch/uniform/opac

g. I'll update u on any changes or additional stuff

h. I’ll contact subog ics to inform of them of the sent email to be checked

2) Bring trashbag for suntec mass dance

3) Bring one 1.5L bottle water each on Monday

4) Get ursa house tee if possible for 4th day(:
